Restaurants in Simsbury are some of the best in Connecticut. From pizza places to more upscale dining, there is something for everyone in this town. And while there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from, here are just a few that stand out above the rest. This tiny spot turns out big flavor, with imaginative toppings and a perfect crust. For something a little more upscale, check out Soma Grille. This restaurant offers an exquisite dining experience, with an impressive menu of American and French cuisine. And for the best views in town, make a reservation at The Present Company. Located on the top floor of a converted warehouse, this restaurant offers stunning views of the River.
For the best pizza in town, head to Joe Pizza. We started out with the Italian Meatballs. The meatballs were definitely made in house. The sauce was very fresh. it's served with a single slice of garlic bread and topped with ricotta, which is a really nice touch. I also ordered a coconut milkshake which was absolutely delicious.
As always, we ordered a pepperoni pizza. The pizza came out very quickly and immediately we were impressed with the airy crust. They use the smaller pepperonis a Joe pizza which is a nice change of pace.
My only issue with this pizza is that there was almost too much pepperoni on it. The ronis were on top of each other, sometimes 3 or 4 of them. That might be a personal preference though, I'm sure there are tons of people who love the endless amount of pepperoni on this pie. The server was also very polite and helpful. He had a couple of tables and did a great job of giving all of them the appropriate attention.
